Ingredients
2 cups GPF rolled oats
¾ cup brown sugar
¼ cup GPF Flax Feed
¾ cup GPF Whole Wheat Flour
¾ cup all-purpose flour
¾ cup grapenuts
2 Tablespoons GPF Chia Seed
½ teaspoon sea salt
½ cup local honey
2 eggs (beaten)
1/3 cup coconut oil
1/3 cup soynut butter
2 teaspoons GPF Vanilla Extract
1 ¼ cup dark chocolate chips
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350⁰ Fahrenheit
Grease 9×13” pan
Mix all dry ingredients in large bowl
Add wet ingredients and mix well
Place mixture in greased pan, press down tightly using your hands
Bake 30-40 minutes, let cool 5-10 minutes then cut while still warm *don’t let bars cool completely before cutting or they will be very difficult to cut through.
Make it your own!
- Try using almond or peanut butter in place of soynut butter.
- Substitute part or all of the chocolate chips with a combination of raisins, craisins, sliced almonds, white chocolate or peanut butter chips, dried berries mixed or coconut!
- Substitute Grain Place Foods Favorite Five mix or any other rolled grains for part or all of the rolled oats.
- Try adding ½ teaspoon almond extract.
