For MAPLE GRANOLA:
In large bowl, mix 13 cups combination of grains, raw nuts, and raw seeds. I use:
4 cups Grain Place Favorite Five™Mixed Grains Cereal
1 cup Grain Place Hi-Fi Rolled Oats
1 cup Grain Place Rolled Barley
1 cup Grain Place Rolled Kamut
1 cup OG Sunflower Kernels
1 cup wheat germ
1 cup pumpkin seeds
1 cup pecans (broken)
1 cup walnuts (broken)
1 cup raw almonds
1 cup organic powdered milk or 3 scoops organic powdered goat’s milk
In another bowl, whisk together:
1 cup + 1 tablespoon grapeseed oil
1 cup + 1 tablespoon real maple syrup
1 tablespoon kosher salt
1 tablespoon vanilla
Instructions:
Pour liquid over grain mixture and mix thoroughly.
Spread on 2 ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake at 250 degrees, about 1 hour 40 minutes (or until golden brown), stirring every 20 minutes.
Cool completely, turn into large bowl and stir in 3-4 cups of dried fruit (I use organic raisins, craisins, mango, berries, apples, banana chips, unsweetened coconut or whatever I have on hand).
Store in airtight container.
For HONEY GRANOLA:
SUBSTITUTE THE MAPLE MIXTURE WITH HONEY MIXTURE.
wHISK TOGETHER, then follow directions as in maple granola above:
1 cup honey
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1 cup organic butter, melted (can also use half butter, half grapeseed oil)
1 teaspoon kosher salt
