Organic Yellow Popcorn

Popcorn is a great way to help meet your daily quota of whole grains. There’s just nothing like the sound and aroma of popping corn! One serving consists of 2 1/2 to 3 cups of popped corn. Our popcorn pops up large, crunchy kernels with that classic toasty corn taste. There is very little difference between white and yellow popcorn. Yellow popcorn has just slightly less carbohydrates. Both contain 15% of the daily value of fiber, and each contain equal amounts of fat and protein. In the end it comes down to personal preference and we think both choices are delicious! Organic, Non-GMO Project Verified, Kosher and 100% Whole Grain. Processed in a facility that handles peanuts and processes wheat and soybeans.

Organic Toasted Oat Groats

Oat Groats are the least-processed form of oats. Only the hull is removed, groats retain the germ, the fiber-rich bran, and the endosperm. Oat groats are a good source of avenanthramides which have been shown to have high antioxidant activities. These nutty, chewy groats can be used as a hot cereal, or paired with kale for a tasty side dish. Try soaking oat groats for an hour to cut cook-time in half.

Organic Hulled Millet (White Proso)

This tiny grain isn’t just “for the birds!” It is also an interesting alternative to more common grains in the human diet. It has a mildly sweet, nutlike flavor and is easily digested. Millet is quite versatile and can be steamed; try toasting in a dry skillet before steaming. Cooked millet makes excellent porridge or pilaf; or try as a stuffing or an addition to soups and green salads.
