Soybeans are the most widely grown and used legume in the world, providing inexpensive, high-quality complete protein. They are also known for their omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins and minerals and isoflavones, which have cholesterol-lowering and antioxidant capabilities. Although soybeans have been cultivated in China for over 3,000 years, they are relatively new to the United States – yet now over half of soybean production is in the United States. Grain Place Foods sells only certified organic, non-GMO soybeans. Some of our soybean production occurs right here on our farm utilizing Regenerative Organic farming methods!

These whole, dried beans are nutritional powerhouses that contain all essential amino acids – that is, like meat, fish and poultry, soybeans are a complete source of protein. To prepare, soak the beans and allow plenty of cooking time. Add cooked beans to soups and stews. Roasted soynuts are a favorite way to enjoy soybeans.

These soybeans are processed on the same equipment on which wheat and barley are processed, and are handled in the same plant that handles sesame seeds and peanuts.
